On Tuesday last 24th July I returned to parish life after my surgery and period of recovery. The surgery was a complete success and thankfully everything went according to plan. I am most grateful for your prayers which were a source of great strength and comfort. Also for your kind support expressed through text messages, letters and cards, all of which I read, the kind sentiments expressed in each one. I deeply appreciated them. Its back to normality now and the routine of Parish life. I am grateful to God and Our Blessed Lady for the return of good health, something we can never take for granted! Last week I travelled to Lourdes and while there I remembered all of you in my prayers, with a deep sense of gratitude.
