This year, we have had many challenges around connecting with the Sixth Class students preparing for Confirmation, and were delighted to be able to offer the possibility of a Retreat Day to all of them once Government Restrictions allowed outdoor activities and public worship.
After discussion with the schools, all nineteen of our class groups from Naas, Sallins and TwoMileHouse took up the offer of a Retreat, with some of them travelling to Kildare town to walk in the footsteps of St Brigid and others opting to stay local and walk to the Church. Mass was celebrated for each group by their School Chaplain. We hope that all of them enjoyed this part of their Confirmation journey and we look forward to celebrating their Confirmation days in the autumn.
