Owing to the Status Red Wind Warning issued by the Irish Met Office for Friday, there will be no 7.30am or 10am Masses in Our Lady and St. David’s Church on Friday.  Bishop Denis has instructed that there will be no Masses in any of the Churches in the Diocese on Friday morning.

Our Lady and St. David’s Church and the Parish Office and Shop on the Sallins Road will remain closed.

Sallins Church and Ballycane Church and Adoration Chapel will stay closed for the whole day.

The advice from the Met Office is to stay indoors, it describes the travel conditions as being ‘extremely dangerous’.

The Funeral Mass scheduled for 11am tomorrow in Sallins Church will now take place on Saturday morning at 9am.  Funeral Mass is for Ciaran O’Neill, Castlesize, Sallins. He will however still repose this evening as planned at the Oliver Reilly Funeral Home in Sallins.  May he Rest in Peace.
