At this time of closed schools and social distance, remote education is the new way of living and it is keeping teachers and students in touch and helping them to move forward in new and exciting ways. Unfortunately not all students can share in this experience as some of our students do not have the access to technology that is required to join in. They fall on the wrong side of the digital divide.
We are appealing to our parishioners who might have an old laptop or PC still working but not serving any puropse to consider donating it to the parish where it can be refurbished and recycled into homes that have little or no technology.
If you have a working laptop or PC to spare and would like to see it get a new lease of life and help a student get their feet back on the learning ladder, then please contact us on 045-879730 or by email on [email protected] to arrange collection or drop off.
