Peacefully, after a long illness at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Anne and loving father to Jack and Diane.
John will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and children, parents Catherine and John, sisters Triona, Karen (O’Sullivan) and Monica, brothers Barry and Peter, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

John will repose at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (Eircode W91CD0K) on Wednesday 18th December from 3pm to 5pm with Removal afterwards to the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas to arrive at 6pm. Funeral will take place on Thursday with Requiem Mass at 10am in to the Church of Our Lady and St. David (to livestream Mass please click here), Naas, followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium.
