As part of our preparation for the World Meeting of families in Dublin this August you are invited to meet with parishioners from our neighbouring parishes for some chat and reflection on family life in the world today. The get – togethers will be held in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane for five Wednesdays, beginning on Wednesday 19th April at 8pm.

Using engaging short videos, animations and activities to encourage discussion our gatherings will offer an opportunity to chat about the reality of family life in the world today and the challenges posed by consumer culture to the stability in the family. It will be an opportunity to think about our vision and hopes for family and marriage and a chance to rediscover the gift that family is to the world.
